I am an Arts Psychotherapist offering Creative Nature Therapy in central Cambridge. I have worked for many years in private practice, supporting clients using art as a co-created language.
Some of the presenting issues I have worked with include; separation and divorce, depression, anxiety, existential crisis, disordered eating, and a sense of feeling lost. I have particular experience working with adults and those suffering from long term health issues. In addition to private practice my employment includes; managing and running art therapy groups supporting people with life limiting illness. Working in an NHS counselling service offering short term therapy to those referred through their GP. I also have experience in the roles of wellbeing champion, gardener and social worker. My education includes; a Masters degree in Integrative Arts Psychotherapy, a Post-Graduate diploma in Therapeutic and Educational Application of the Arts and a Bachelors degree in Social Work. I am a registered Allied Health Professional with the Health Care Professionals Council and am trained in eco-therapy and working outside. Alongside psychotherapy, I am a creative person with a passion for big skies, birds and sewing. |
