Arts Psychotherapy uses creativity to help with expression and communication, where emotional issues and internal conflicts can be explored in a safe and contained way.
The 'arts' can be the use of metaphors and the imagination as well art, poetry, music, drama, movement, puppetry and clay. How creative methods can support;
Central to the work is the relationship between client, therapist and the arts. We work together to co-create a space that feels safe and that suits your needs and wishes. We do not need to use the arts if you prefer a different approach. |
